Incoloy 825 Pipe Fittings hold their shape and their chemistry when carbon steel and even 316L fittings would already be pitting — the 2.5–3.5% molybdenum and 1.5–3.0% copper in this nickel-iron-chromium alloy neutralise sulphuric and phosphoric acid attack that ordinary austenitic grades cannot survive. Ganpat Industrial forges every ASTM B366 UNS N08825 elbow, tee, reducer and stub end from mill-certified raw material, then machines it to the exact bevel, radius or bore your isometric calls for. Buyers running acid production trains, pickling lines, sour gas gathering systems and seawater-cooled exchangers specify Alloy 825 fittings over 316L or duplex precisely because chloride pitting and stress-corrosion cracking are an everyday risk in their process, not an occasional one. Ganpat Industrial Corporation is a Mumbai-based manufacturer and exporter with over 25 years in nickel alloy and stainless steel piping components, shipping ready stock and custom-drawing orders across India and export markets.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is Incoloy 825 preferred over 316L for acid service?
316L pits and corrodes under sustained sulphuric or phosphoric acid exposure, while the higher nickel, molybdenum and copper in Alloy 825 keeps the fitting intact across a much wider acid concentration and temperature range.
Do Incoloy 825 fittings need post-weld heat treatment?
Generally no. Alloy 825 is supplied solution-annealed and retains its corrosion resistance after welding, so PWHT is only called for on thick sections per project-specific code requirements.
What lead time should I plan for a custom-size order?
Standard sizes in ready stock ship within a few days of PO confirmation; custom drawing sizes and large-diameter welded fittings typically take 3–5 weeks depending on schedule and testing scope.
Can Incoloy 825 fittings be supplied with NACE MR0175 certification?
Yes. Ganpat Industrial issues NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 compliant documentation for sour-service and oil & gas orders on request.
