The SS 446 Angle is a kind of metal that can withstand very high temperatures. This metal is made with a lot of chromium which’s between twenty three and twenty seven percent and it has very little nickel in it. This is why the ASTM A276 UNS S44600 Angle Bars are very good at resisting damage from heat and oxidation. The SS 446 Angle can handle gases that have sulphur in them which is often found in furnaces. However the SS 446 Angle is not suitable for places where there are chemicals or where the air is very corrosive.
